After many years of planning and preparing, Joseph, Alyssa, Madeline and Julia Sumpter took a leap to embark on a journey that would change their lives forever.  From October of 2020 until August 2021 they circumnavigated the Eastern US exploring America's Great Loop by boat traveling in Rivers, Lakes, Bays, Intracoastal Waterways, Oceans, Canals, and through 150 locks.  In a world that was battling a pandemic, political unrest, and educating children via Zoom, the Sumpter's awoke each day with hearts full of gratitude, in a new place to explore.  Living together in such close quarters took some getting used to and many prayers, but when the walls were closing in, the constantly changing scenery kept them focused on the Big Picture.  Come join us to hear stories of  the many adventures they shared together over 6000 miles and 10 months aboard their boat named "Willing".
