About The Event
Holy Week contains some of the oldest and most symbol-rich liturgies of the Christian Church year; and yet it can be easy for us to travel Jesus's last days in the midst of our hectic lives and miss the beauty, pain, and mystery of what's happening in these liturgical milestones. The labyrinth is an ancient, archetypal tool and the perfect symbol for the type of journeying we do in keeping the seasons of the liturgical Church year. In this quiet day, we will explore the liturgies of Palm/Passion Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday with time to reflect and prepare to experience these liturgies anew in the week ahead.
The event will begin at 8:00 AM, but participants are encouraged to come for Morning Prayer at 7:30 AM - to begin the day - and stay for Noonday prayer at 12:30 PM - to close out the Quiet Morning.
